Covid 19 has altered the world, forcing most adults to change their daily and working routines, and stay at home for extended periods of time. One of the downsides is degrading mental health, combined with inability to visit therapists due to imposed distancing.
ProblemShared was founded to provide better access to mental health services over a convenient and affordable platform. By integrating national and other insurance services as well as medical faculties, providing powerful search, easy scheduling and payments, ProblemShared quickly emerged as the “go to” platform for connecting therapists and people in need of their services.
We are developing a secure, inclusive and flexible online platform. It was built to provide improved access to mental health professionals, through an affordable, simple-to-use video conferencing platform that takes the hassle out of organizing a practice with marketing, bookings, reminders, billing and collections taken care of. Our team steered complete system design and specification and provided consulting, software development, DevOps, and other IT services in the past three years.

OneGoal is a postsecondary access and success organization working with schools and districts to transform postsecondary advising and support through our Classroom-Based Model and OneGoal Leadership Network so that all students can define their futures.
Our developers worked with them from an early stage on the maintenance of the college selection tool, then building a platform for students where they could schedule short meetings with advisors (mentors), as well as the development features with the tasks they should perform within the program itself.

Many kids demonstrate solid performance in school, but can achieve much much more with a bit of personal guidance through predefined lessons and communication with mentors through chat, audio and video. Our task was to develop a technology-driven platform to match students with volunteer mentors who provide personalized support, guidance, and encouragement throughout their educational journey. The iMentor platform enables mentors (adults) and mentees (pupils) to connect, and easily conduct guided communication and observation through a fully independent platform.

This organization pulls thousands of kids per year out of poverty, and sets them up for work and life.

Project
The Justice Navigator is a project initiated by the Center for Policing Equity (CPE), aimed at identifying and addressing racial disparities in policing practices. It provides assessments to participating police departments, analyzing their data alongside crime statistics to highlight any disparities in police behavior and policy that disproportionately affect Black, Brown, and marginalized communities. These assessments are made publicly available on the Justice Navigator homepage, serving as a tool for understanding and addressing burdensome policing practices. Additionally, the platform offers guidance for law enforcement agencies and communities to promote equitable public safety measures.

The Center for Policing Equity (CPE) is a research and action organization (non-profit) focused on reducing racial disparities in policing. Through the use of scientific methods, it identifies and addresses the causes of racial disparities in police interactions. CPE works in partnership with police departments, analyzing their data to uncover patterns of bias and discrimination. It also engages in advocacy efforts to promote systemic reforms in policing and criminal justice, aiming to create fair and just law enforcement practices.
